The Chicago Fire Department Gold Badge Society was founded February 17, 1991. Our membership is comprised of the families of firefighters and paramedics who have made the ultimate sacrifice: losing their lives in the line of duty. Our purpose for existing is to offer support and comfort to any and all who might benefit from our experiences, especially any future duty-death families.
Dear Gold Badge Members and Friends,
As you can see we are going a new route in getting the newsletter and other distributions to our members and friends. We are hoping this will be a smooth transition. As of July 2019, our AOL account will be null and void. All correspondences will be through Go Daddy.
Thank you to all whom have supported the GBS Scholarship Program. All applications were due on March 31st. Recipients will be awarded during June’s monthly mass.
